Outdoor Golf Buildings
A private golf sanctuary in your backyard, built as its own steel and glass building. Fairway & Ember works with Golfsheds (Sports Sheds LLC) to quote and coordinate these buildings for homeowners around Pawleys Island and the Grand Strand.
These are not kits you assemble on a weekend. Each one arrives as a finished building with the simulator, screen, sound, climate control and furniture already designed in. You prepare the site, the crane sets the building, and you play.
How quoting works
We do not stock buildings, and you cannot order one off this page. Every Golfsheds building is quoted to your property. Here is the path:
- 1. Request a quote. Tell us which model interests you, where you live and a little about your yard.
- 2. We talk it through. Doug will walk you through model fit, site needs, freight and timing, and help you sort out HOA approval and whether your municipality requires a permit.
- 3. Written quote. You get package pricing plus an estimated freight figure for your location.
- 4. Deposit and build. Your build slot is set once the deposit is placed. Lead time runs about 16 weeks from deposit.
- 5. Site prep and delivery. You arrange the pad, power, ethernet and any permits while your studio is built. Then it ships and a crane sets it in place.

The XLE and Platinum each include a 4' deck and a 4' overhang. The Platinum+ and Captain include a 2' overhang with no deck, and the Captain does not offer a rooftop deck.
The Captain also adds a panoramic screen, automatic ball return, auto tee, granite surfaces and cabinetry.
Freight
Freight is paid by the customer and quoted separately. It typically runs about $15,000 to $23,000, depending on the model and fuel costs at the time of shipping. You also pay for the crane that sets your building on its pad. Both the shipping and the crane are the client's cost, so your site needs clear crane and truck access.
Lead time
Plan on roughly 16 weeks from deposit. We will give you a realistic window once your slot is confirmed. We will not promise a date we cannot keep.
Site work you arrange
You (or your contractor) handle the site. We will help you understand what is needed:
- Permits only if your municipality requires them, plus any HOA approval
- An engineered concrete pad
- A 60 amp electrical service stubbed to the concrete pad
- An ethernet line stubbed to the concrete pad
- Clear crane and truck access to the pad
Hazard Free Guarantee
Every Golfsheds building is backed by the Hazard Free Guarantee: 10 years of structural coverage and 1 year of general support and maintenance. Golfsheds engineers its structures for heavy snow and winds up to 110 mph. On the coast, local building codes, flood zone rules and HOA requirements still apply, so it is worth checking those early.
