Install it after the enclosure is finished. It comes with its own instructions and connects to the fittings already on your rear frame.

Check your rear clearance before you order. Those fittings sit 8.25 inches behind the screen, and Carl's requires at least that much room between the screen and your back wall to fit them. Carl's recommends 12 inches. A finished DIY frame measures 59.125 inches from screen to front frame, and 67.375 inches of total footprint depth once the rear fitting is in.
