APOGEE by TruGolf Launch Monitor

November promo: $6,500 (regular $7,995). Through Nov 30.

TruGolf's flagship launch monitor, built in Utah.

Ceiling mounted, so it stays out of your swing. Dual stereoscopic cameras read the ball and the club together, with no marked clubs and no special balls. The numbers are measured, not estimated.

After every swing you get a slow motion replay of the point of impact. An onboard processor puts the shot on screen with no lag, which matters most on putts.

Two things TruGolf built in that the spec sheets miss. The Laser Launchpad projects exactly where to tee the ball, then disappears when you are ready. Voice commands let you call a mulligan or change clubs without walking back to the keyboard.

Mounting clearance. TruGolf mounts the APOGEE 9 to 10 feet above the hitting surface and 21 to 25 inches in front of the tee. Measure floor to joist before you buy, and remember a mat or a leveling platform spends some of that height.
