Humidor Supreme 9200 Series Electronic Cigar Cabinet (Black)

The top of the mountain. An electronic cigar cabinet that holds and ages a serious inventory with active climate control, instead of a passive box that tracks whatever the room does. For the collector who is done compromising, or the venue that wants the best piece in the building.

What it actually holds. Quality Importers rates the 9200 Series at 3,700 to 6,800 cigars, depending on how much of it goes to boxes and how much to loose singles. The 9200 is the model name, not a cigar count. Inside you get eight roll-out flat shelves sized for boxes and four roll-out drawers with dividers for loose cigars, all in kiln-dried Spanish cedar behind two double-paned UV-protected glass doors. The cabinet itself is 38 3/4 inches wide, 26 3/4 deep and 70 7/8 tall, on adjustable leveling feet.

The room it needs. Quality Importers puts the recommended range at 60 to 90 degrees, in a stable spot with some ventilation room around the cabinet. Wide temperature swings make the compressors cycle harder, and those compressors run on timers so they do not stay on around the clock and burn out. So this cabinet goes where a passive cabinet cannot. It still wants a room that is not swinging thirty degrees a day.

Start it dry. If the room already sits at 65 percent humidity or higher, do not fill the reservoir on day one. The cabinet pulls moisture out of the air around it. Add water on top of that and you over-humidify the cedar and the cigars, which then take days to give it back. Run it dry, check the sensor after a day or two, and add a cup of distilled water a day only until it reaches the humidity you want. Put a cheap hygrometer in the room for a week before the cabinet arrives and you will know which case you are in.

Ships direct from Quality Importers. Delivery is curbside, so line up help to move it inside.

Freight delivery. A cabinet this size ships on a truck, not in a box. When it arrives, inspect it before the driver leaves and write any damage on the delivery receipt. If it is not noted there, the carrier will not honor the claim. Here is what happens at the curb, and what to check before you sign.
